Carole & Jim Young Fellows
This year marks a new initiative for TEDxSMU: the launch of the Carole & Jim Young Fellows, a program to involve SMU students with TEDxSMU. Carole and Jim are long-time TEDsters, parents of two SMU alumni, and incredible civic leaders in Dallas. This program is a tribute to their contributions to the TED community, the SMU community and the Dallas community, and has been made possible thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor.
The Carole & Jim Young Fellows represent the most interesting SMU students. This fall, students applied and were selected from each of the seven academic colleges at SMU. These students were integral at TEDxKids @SMU and are actively engaged here at TEDxSMU. The Young Fellows will also be invited to join TEDxSMU programming throughout the remainder of the 2011-2012 academic year.
