Inside SMU powered by TEDxSMU

The TEDxSMU team was very excited to partner with SMU’s Office of Development and External Affairs to present Inside SMU Powered by TEDxSMU during Founder’s Day Weekend!

Founder’s Day is an annual celebration of the founding of SMU and the spirit of the University. The cornerstone of the day was Inside SMU, an open house that highlighted all the best and brightest ideas across campus. The afternoon was hosted by SMU students Ramon Trespalacios and Devin Kerns. Subjects ran from genocide to kindness, the rule of law to the heroes of war and lessons in failure to stories of persistence. Our speakers were passionate and curious and challenged us to ask if businesses should run more like universities and  the importance of the new field called the Digital Humanities.
