What: Looking to get involved on campus? Interested in giving a TEDx Talk or getting involved behind the scenes of a TEDx Conference?

Where + When: Come by the Caruth Institute for Engineering Education on the main level of Caruth this Thursday, September 15th, from 1:00-3:00 P.M., to meet the current TEDxSMU members and learn more about TEDxSMU.

Who: All SMU students are invited to stop by the Caruth Institute for Engineering Education on the main level of Caruth to get more information on how to get more involved with TEDxSMU.

Why: We will be decorating sugar cookies!

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxSMU, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxSMU event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized. Find out more HERE
