Talks No Comments

Daniel is a junior at SMU where he has had the privilege of serving as one of the founders of the community service organization, Mustang Heroes. At SMU, Daniel feels humbled that his record of initiative and service has been honored by SMU’s prestigious Hunt Leadership Scholarship. Daniel’s proudest and continuing achievement is a service project called Feed the Forgotten: Making A Christmas. It is an event that Daniel and his service peers created while in high school in 2008. It was created behind the vision of serving homeless families in Austin. It is an annual event that brings now four years of service membership together to create a Christmas celebration for homeless youth and their families. Daniel’s faith in God encourages his convictions and he feels blessed to have the opportunities to serve and bless the lives of others.
