Katherine Allen – Be a Catalyst – TEDxKids@SMU 2015

Talks No Comments

Be a catalyst. What does that even mean? The Catalyst Arts Movement speaks on why we should all be catalysts, and the three steps to becoming one. The cofounders discuss their personal experiences in becoming catalysts, and why they believe all people should seek to spark change in their communities, regardless of their age or stage in life.

Catalyst Arts Movement’s mission is to “Inspire Change. Catalyze Art”. The organization was founded in 2014 by Katherine Allen, Cristina Girod, and Angie Reisch. The growing team, who resides all across the country, designs unique apparel to support artists who use their talents to connect communities, eliminate stigmas, and create meaningful conversations. They believe in the power that art has to solve complex social issues and are always looking to broaden their reach and expand their movement.
