Kelly Stoetzel – TED + Youth = a serious movement – TEDxSMU 2014

Talks No Comments

TEDTalks aren’t just for grown-ups anymore. Connecting kids and knowledge in the form of TEDTalks has inspired a youth movement around the world. TED Content Director Kelly Stoetzel gives a passionate talk on the impact these programs have had on young people.

As the Content Director at TED, Kelly spends most of the year working on the speaker program and finds that assembling and working with 50 of the most interesting and relevant people in the world is at least as much fun as it sounds. She is also the Producer and co-host of TEDActive (with Rives),, the intimate, relaxed and very, very fun simulcast event of TED featuring special workshops and immersive multi-sensory experiences.
She also curates and produces TEDYouth, a one-day event for 14 – 18 years-olds that is now in its third year.
A fan of Adair’s burgers and the State Fair of Texas, Kelly is a native Dallasite and SMU grad.
