LyAnna Smith – Fostering Hope – TEDxSMU 2013
LyAnna Johnson Smith is a graduate student at the Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University and currently serves as the Intern Pastor at Servants of Christ United Methodist Parish in Houston, TX. She is a certified candidate for ordained ministry in The United Methodist Church. LyAnna is a former political campaign staffer, legislative staffer, and foster parent. She has a Master’s degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Texas Tech University. Her passions include foster care reform, theology, two-stepping, and really good enchiladas.
