Terry Stewart – TEDxSMU 2012

Terry has been the president & CEO since 1999 of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, a nonprofit organization. Terry earned two undergraduate degrees, a B.S. in engineering and a B.A. in education from Rutgers University in New Jersey. He then received his MBA in finance and J.D. in law from Cornell University. Terry spent the next 15 years building a traditional business background.

Terry switched gears in 1989 when he became president and COO of Marvel Entertainment Group, a leader in the fields of publishing, merchandising and media. Marvel went public in 1991 and Terry was named CNBC Marketing Executive of the year. Terry is on numerous local and national boards. He has also received a number of distinguished awards including being elected into the Rutgers University Hall of Distinguished Alumni in 2010 and an honorary degree from Ohio State University in 2011.
