The next generation of TEDx: TEDxKids @SMU
TEDxKids @SMU is a free half-day TEDx event for 7th and 8th grade students in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We work with schools of all types: public, private, charter, Montessori…you name it. In order to allow as many schools to participate as possible, each school brings a small group of students. More details on how to participate will be released soon.
In the meantime, want your school to be on the list for TEDxKids 2010 on October 15? Please complete the following:
Student Profile
Interested, innovative, out of the box thinkers in middle school. Students from public, private and charter schools are all welcome, and — like TEDxSMU — attendance is by application or through your school.
Change Starts with You
TEDxKids @SMU is FREE to attend for all accepted students and schools. In return, each student needs to complete at least one hour volunteering in return for each hour of TEDxKids @SMU (four hours). Our goal is to reach 1,000 volunteer hours from the group attending TEDxKids @SMU.
