Isake Akanke Slaughter – My Soul Cries – TEDxSMU Salon 2012
Isake brings greetings from Augusta, GA. She is a senior at SMU pursuing her B.F.A. in theatre performance with a focus on acting. After graduation she wants to attend American Repertory Theater or Yale School of Drama to further her professional theatre training. Isake is the recipient of the Meadows Artistic Scholarship. Her latest projects include “Blues for Mr. Charlie”, directed by Patricia McGregor and “Alice Underground”, directed by Will Power. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and loves sharing her passion with the community.
