TEDxSMU 2014: Strangely Familiar

TEDxSMU, the day-long event dedicated to ideas worth spreading, was back for a sixth year on Saturday, November 1st. “Strangely Familiar” was the theme for the conversations; our speakers and performers took us on an adventure into the unknown. Topics intersected where the strange meets the familiar; familiar subjects were viewed with a different lens and strange ideas were made relatable. Our journey included music and dance, robots and big data. We traveled to prisons in Africa then back to the super-bugs in our own backyard.
